At checkout, you can see the various carriers we work with and pick the option that fits you best. The carriers we work with are PostNL, DPD, Fietskoeriers and UPS.

Please note that if you fail to pick up the parcel from the pick up point, we charge extra 5€ for shipping the second time & if you wish to cancel your order we won't refund shipping costs.

I only got one item out of my order. How come?

This might be because your order was composed of more than one item and that one of the items was an item directly dropshipped by one of our green labels. This has some benefits like minimizing shipping and optimizing inventory. This also means that you can discover even more green labels! You will receive the items in two different deliveries so they can also come at different times since they come from different locations.

Currently the following labels are shipping directly to you:

Can I change my order or address after completing the order? If you notice an error in your shipping address please send us an email at welcome@thegreenlabels.com as soon as possible. If the order is already shipped we can’t modify it ourselves. Orders that are returned because of an invalid address will incur a shipping charge if they are reshipped.
How can I trace my order? All our carriers will send you a T&T after the package has been handed to them. If you still haven't receive any mail from them 2 working days after your order, please reach out to us so we can check and share with you your T&T number.
How long does it take to receive my order?

In the Netherlands, any order placed before 4 pm (weekends and bank holidays excluded) will be shipped the same/next day and can take up to 2 working days to arrive.

For other European countries, shipping can take from 3 to 5 working days.

For North America, expect up to 10 working days.

For the rest of the world, well it’s a little difficult to estimate because the world is quite big! If you want you can contact us for an estimate.

Be aware that some brands with who we collaborate are shipping your orders themselves with the possibility of a wider estimated lead time. In that case, we try to follow up on the delivery as best as possible and keep you up to date with all the details we get from our labels.

Do I have to pay customs? What is the situation with Brexit?

thegreenlabels is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and we ship our packages from here or our green labels partners also all located in EU. It means that if you are located outside the EU, you will have to pay customs. And yes that is now the case of the UK, which is also out of the EU from 1st of January 2021. The custom amounts & process depends on each country and we advice you to refer to the official website of the customs office of your country for correct information. For the UK the estimate is 0-17% of the purchase price of goods costing more than 150€. Generally, you get a notification your package has arrived to the customs with instructions on how to pay. After you have done that the package will be released from customs and delivered to you.


Marketplace

Is thegreenlabels a marketplace? and what is a market place exactly? Certain labels ship directly to you, it's also called dropshipping. This has some benefits, like minimizing shipping and optimizing inventory. This also means that you can discover more green labels through our platform.
My order contains several products, how will they be shipped to me? Labels that are not on the market place list (refer to the previous question for the list) are shipped from our Amsterdam HQ. All products are heading your way, but this means they will come in different packages and possibly at different times.

Are there any differences in buying products from your shop or the marketplace? All labels curated on our shop comply with the same framework & standards regarding sustainability, ethics & transparency.
In practicality, there are some minor differences:
1. Specific labels do not ship outside of the EU. You won't be able to check out if you are trying to purchase from those labels with a home address outside of the EU.
2. Items from marketplace labels are directly shipped by our green labels with the possibility of a wider estimated lead time. In that case, we try to follow up on the delivery as best as possible and keep you up to date with all the details we get from our labels.
3. The returning methods are also the same. The only difference is that if you choose a refund or an exchange, you have to send your item back to the label address somewhere in EU (refer to the first question for the exact list)It's a dropshipping way to do business where the labels send the products straight to you. This has some benefits, like minimizing shipping and optimizing inventory. This also means that you can discover more green labels through our platform.

 

Exchange & Returns

I am not completely satisfied, how can I return my product? Sorry to hear that, but of course it's no problem to return your products, with the exception of specific products such as underwear, hosiery and jewelry. You have 14 days from the delivery date to notify us by email that you want to return or exchange your product. Please, refer to the products bought on sale section for more information.The product(s) must be as new, and must still have a tag on. We will not refund any damaged and/or used products.

When a quality issue appears past the 14 days window, we offer to repair and/or a replacement but no refund.

Follow these simple steps to return your product:

1/ Send us an email at welcome@thegreenlabels.com, indicating the reason for return (optional), order number and product name.
2/ For a 
full refund, we ask that you send back the package yourself at your own cost.
thegreenlabels will not be held responsible for lost or damage packages.

3/ After receiving and checking the return good(s) we will send you an email confirming that we have accepted your return & process the refund.

How do I get refunded?

You will receive your money back for the amount of your order (you pay & arrange for return yourself)

Expect a maximum of 14 days processing time (it normally takes 2 to 3 working days) after reception of the goods to get refunded.

I want to exchange my item for another one, how to proceed?

Wrong size or the wrong color, changed your mind? No problem. In any case, send us an email welcome@thegreenlabels.com !

Yes, you can find it there indeed!

Can I order without creating an account?

Yes, of course, when ordering do not tick the box “Remember my information for next time”

Can I add items to wishlist without creating an account?

Yes you can! You only need an account when you want to share the wishlist. 

I have lost my password, how can I request another one?

Easy peasy! Just click on “I have lost my password” on the account login page.
