The brand was founded by the two longterm friends Thies Meyer and Stephan Sunder‐Plassmann. Based in Berlin, FRISUR functions as the designers' creative playground, built on their personal belief, drive, and attitude.


With regards to sustainability & transparency, what are your core values that define how your brand operates?
Frisur is our personal project, a reflection of ourselves and therefore a reflection of our values. Our drive is to treat our resources, our suppliers and our clients with respect. This is why all our garments are produced within the EU, which reduces transport ways, ensures the regulation of work conditions and makes it possible for us to build a personal relationship with our partners. This is our key to designing products that are worth its price and last longer than a trend or a season.
Our contribution is slow and conscious, it is substantial and thorough. It’s all about attitude and the desire to create a long lasting piece.


With regards to sustainability & transparency, what are the "hot topics" you are currently working on and try to improve yourself on?
Since most of our skin is constantly covered in garments we feel engaged to offer the best tactile experience we can find. This can be a challenge since fabrics that are sustainable, of long-lasting quality, affordable and beautiful at the same time, are rare finds.
This is why we focus even more on our very own FRISUR fabrics produced hand in hand with our Portuguese partners. Through these collaborative efforts, we can deepen our understanding of their craft, which helps us improve the extraordinary touch of our garments.
